Rob and Barb Becky, Charlene, James, Eric and Deb. Maggie the rockhound Shane and Pat Stephen Dave brought a big selection of rocks and art. Dave's photo art. Randy and Kay Time to eat! Nancy, James and Andrea Pat teaching her dog to talk. This was one of, if not the best roundup we have had. I missed some of our members who could not be there because of health issues and those who have passed. But, I did not miss that certain "element" of people that I have successfully eliminated from the club over the past year. Everyone that attended said it was nice and peaceful and... FUN! I want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate the good members of MAGMA. These people are the best you will find anywhere. Thanks to all who helped lead trips, cook great food, help keep the place clean and make the new members feel at home with us. We have a great group. I also want to reflect on the current status of our nation and this club. As a retired police officer, I cannot help but notice the hate from that element of our country (the same people as the ones I kicked out of the club) that is being aimed at the police and our military. I look around at the members, all the good members we have that go out of their way to help people and I notice how many of them are retired military and police. These people deserve respect, not only for their service to our country and community, but for their continued service that they offer in everyday life. I see this in the way they help the club. So, I dedicate this roundup to you, the men and woman who have served our country in the past and continue to do so today. Thank you. Left to right: Randy and Kay Firzgerald, Dave Boring and Johnny Clear, Luther Hunt and Ron Seaver, Shane Chronister, James Adams, Bob Turner, Jerry Creasman and Rick Bernotas. Represented here are the Marines, Navy, Army, Special Forces, Air Force and the Police. MAGMA supports the police and our military, if you don't, you do not belong in the club.
